Selling my convertible to replace with automatic car. Tired of driving manual in traffic. $xxxx, OBO. CASH ONLY!!
xxxx60 miles-mostly highway due to 50-mile roundtrip commute. Oil changed regularly with Castrol high mileage.
GLX package has all power: windows, locks, top, HEATED front seats, power steering, tilt wheel, ABS, dual air bags, side air bags, alloy wheels, alarm.
AM/FM stereo/cassette. Has CD changer mode -- currently has 6 disc changer connected in trunk but I'm planning on keeping that. Connected to show it works.
Black leather interior -- only worn area is on driver's seat from entry /exit rub. Entire interior treated with leather conditioner and cleaner.
Top has been treated with 303 Fabric Guard and beads water very well. Has very small unglued seam section that an upholster could probably fix in minutes.
Had timing belt and water pump replaced 3 years ago -- have receipt
All four tires and rear struts put on in February -- have receipt
Calipers, discs, pads, parking brake cable and wheel bearings replaced in May -- have receipt
Have also replaced mass air sensor, valve cover gasket, engine oil cooler seal, ignition coil, fuel filter, PCV valve, purge valve solenoid, vapor charcoal canister (Evap), distributor cap and rotor button. ( have some receipts)
Shifter bushings and lever replaced in October
Muffler and resonator replaced in July (have receipt)
Have 2 remote keys and 3 ignition keys, and pretty much the entire owner's manual in vinyl binder.
Negatives:
AC does not work.
Volksdocktor says needs catalytic converter and that's why CEL on. ( $120 direct fit cat. conv. on Ebay)
Instrument cluster replaced by prior owner -- have receipt (odometer shows miles only since then)
13 year old car! It is not perfect -- has some rock chips in hood, few rust spots starting. Car is peppy and fun to drive. Fall days are great when sun is bright with top down. Just needs the TLC as mentioned above.
